Every Saturday: Drop-In Tech Help For those seeking tech help, the Marin County Free Library, 3501 Civic Center Drive, suite 414. Every Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. people of all ages can drop in for any tech questions they may have and it’s free of charge. Tech help is, however, limited; there are no computer repairs.
March 1-31: Napa Humane’s Pawsport Napa Valley
For the entire month of March, Napa Humane is hosting its dog-friendly, passport-style, wine-tasting event. There are a total of 23 participating Napa Valley wineries and restaurants. Each “pawsport” is $60 and can be purchased on napahumane.org , and no worries for those who don’t have a furry friend, the event is welcome to all. The cost of the pawsport also helps Napa Humane cover the cost of a wellness exam, vaccines and flea treatment for one pet or the microchipping of five pets.
March 17: Weekend Ranger Programs
Those interested in learning more about the Point Reyes National Seashore can join a park ranger on March 17 at 11 a.m. A range of topics are on the agenda covering things like earthquakes, the Coast Miwok as well as the area’s flora and fauna. This event is free and open to all. Meet at the Bear Valley Visitor Center, 1 Bear Valley Visitor Center Access Road, Olema, on the day of the event.
Through March 14: Colors in Art: Voices Soft and Loud Exhibition and ARTalk Through March 14 the Belvedere Tiburon Library Art Gallery exhibition will feature the work of 52 artists and their unique presentations of color. What sort of emotions are evoked by bold and vibrant hues? What about a softer palette? For those interested in discovering more of the world of color, head to 1501 Tiburon Blvd. in Tiburon. Admission is free. The gallery is open Mondays – Thursdays 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays – Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
