Prior to assuming this role, Slater – who has been with the bank since it opened its first location in 2007 – was branch manager and vice president at the bank’s two Livingston locations. In addition to its Livingston branches, Regal has one office each in Roseland and Florham Park. “Being a part of Regal Bank’s rapid growth during the past five years has been an honor,” says Slater. “I’m excited and extremely humbled to take on these new responsibilities and I look forward to having a vital role in the bank’s continued success.” Slater ’s extensive experi- ence and training includes certifications in commercial and consumer lending, legal es- sentials for lenders, managing problem loans, and advanced loan documentation. She ac- tively participates in the bank’s comprehensive community involvement initiatives and volunteers at the Kiwanis Club of Livingston. In other news, two-time U.S. Presidential candidate Steve Forbes, the current chair and editor-in-chief of Forbes Me- dia , was the guest speaker at a recent Regal Bank breakfast event. Held in the Westmin- ster Hotel in Livingston, the networking session drew a ca- pacity crowd of more than 350 attendees, all of whom where there by special invitation. Forbes, who spoke and an- swered audience questions for a total of 45 minutes, focused on economic matters, with a particular emphasis on the need for the nation’s economy to further accelerate.
