When there is a need to create special lines of credit for women, it is because, in fact, there are restrictions on the granting of credit to women. The situation is discriminatory, but the market is beginning to open with opportunities, such as the one recently offered by Banco da Mulher Paranaense. The institution has launched the Banco da Mulher Paranaense program, which aims to stimulate female entrepreneurship in the state, with lower interest rates to support. The credit may be accessed by industrial, commercial, or service undertakings that have the participation of women as owners or partners. It is a positive step, but we need more – to sit at the negotiating table to obtain credit with true gender equality.
