Lee as Uncle Fester in the Adams Family

LEE PASSMOOR Lee is a business coach for our PTC homeworkers. He has also spent the past 30 years involved in musical theatre.

AGE: 48.

HOBBIES: I’m also a Scentsy Consultant; promoting and selling a fab range of fragrance products. On top of that, I’m a bit of a TV addict and cannot get through the week without my regular fix of Coronation Street, Holby City, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. A couple of years ago I was a contestant on ITV’s Tipping Point, coming second, missing my chance of the final by just one counter. TELL US ABOUT YOUR ACTING CAREER: I’ve been involved with musical theatre for nearly 30 years, appearing in musicals, panto and plays (at least three shows a year). I’m Chairman at Dryburn Theatrical Workshop, who are known to produce some of the finest theatre in the north east. I’ve taken principal roles in shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, Avenue Q, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Addams Family, Our House, and the northern premier of Acorn Antiques the Musical by Victoria Wood, which was staged at the Customs House, South Shields, as well as our local theatre in Chester le Street. I recently introduced singing sensation Maureen Nolan (of the Nolan Sisters) to our cast and

crew whilst we rehearsed for our last production, Blood Brothers. Maureen was only too happy to share stories of her professional experience with us and passed on lots of tips and advice from her time on the stage. She is now our Honorary President. I am currently rehearsing for our January panto, Aladdin. As resident Dame, I’ll be playing Widow Twankey and cannot wait to choose my frocks and outrageous wigs! Watch out fellas in the audience, I’m coming to get you.
