Gora, for a chance to tackle the World Cup Slalom run. Mount Vogel is one of the highest alpine ski centres. It has an excellent 8.5km run going over the back of the mountain and descending to the magnificent lakeside area below. In Krvavec you can tackle 4 black runs. CHILDREN All of the resorts offer ideal conditions for a wonderful family holiday - they are safe and compact, with plenty of amenities, minimal traffic and good nursery slopes within easy reach of the hotels. SNOWBOARDING There is great tuition available for those wanting to learn to snowboard, as well as many blue and red runs for the more experienced. The Vogel snow park is among the best in Slovenia and suitable for all levels plus the area around Lake Bled offers some interesting terrain for free riders and the chance to try some adventurous jumps. SKI LIFTS All ski lifts operate 9am-4pm, and in Kranjska Gora you can also enjoy night skiing 7-10pm. Night skiing is available for clients staying in Kranjska Gora. BEGINNERS Kranjska Gora and Krvavec are ideal for beginners. In Kranjska Gora you will learn to ski on the two nursery slopes and four more gentle runs, served by six lifts. In Krvavec there is a beginners polygon, children’s carousel, number of playgrounds, gentle run and a toboggan run. Both resorts have a well-organised ski school with English speaking instructors. INTERMEDIATES The great variety of well-marked red runs and compact system of chair and drag lifts make all of the resorts ideal for improving your skiing confidence. In Kranjska Gora, intermediates will find interesting skiing on Mt. Vitranc or on the shorter wooded slopes down towards Podkoren. Krvavec will keep intermediates busy with 15km of intermediate runs. Alpine skiers and snowboarders can test the more challenging runs on Vogel.
