RECIPE: DEVILED EGGS DIRECTIONS Peel hardboiled eggs and discard shells. Cut each egg in half lengthwise and then scoop out yolks into a bowl. Place egg white halves face up in a single layer on a platter or tray. Mash yolks with fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper to yolks. Crumble two strips of bacon and add half the chives into the yolk mixture, mixing until creamy. Place an opened Ziploc bag into a glass and scoop mixture into bag, then seal it. Cut a corner of the bag and squeezemixture into each egg half. A pastry bag with a tip may also be used for decorative purposes. Garnishwith leftover bacon, chives, and a dash of paprika.
