The strategy is both practical and deeply personal.
"I want people to have jobs down the road," Terry says. "Not just right now, down the road." His focus on long-term opportunity stems from personal experience. He remembers periods when financial hardship shaped daily decisions, and those memories continue to influence how he thinks about leadership today. "I've been there," he says. "I want everybody that starts at the bottom level to be inspired and know that if they accept the training, there's opportunities to grow into leadership." That commitment to development has shaped the company's future plans in ways that are unusual for a business operating within the material recovery space. The momentum IronRidge Services has generated during its first year has not gone unnoticed. The company was recently selected to advance to the Phase 2 application round of the Jobber Grants program, a competitive small business initiative supporting field service companies across North America. IronRidge has also been selected to compete in The Blox, an intensive five-day entrepreneurial bootcamp developed by BetaBlox, with filming scheduled for February 2027. Built around business education, mentorship, and live pitching, the program has earned a reputation among alumni as being more transformative than a traditional MBA.
