The Knowledge That Could Disappear
“The way we build sets the standard for excellence, not just for our clients, but for the industry,” Robert says. “I was raised to exceed expectations, to work with intention and to treat every home as if it were my own. It’s about service above self. Building with integrity, purpose and respect for those we serve.” There have been times when upholding that standard has reduced margins, required more time and forced difficult decisions, but Robert believes compromise carries a far greater price.
“Reputation, performance and trust are everything,” he says. “Once lost, they’re not easily rebuilt.”
That commitment has also carried into the wider industry through his involvement with the National Association of Home Builders, including service as an International Builders’ Show Judge and Ambassador, along with his Graduate Master Builder and Certified Green Professional credentials . The challenge weighing most heavily upon Robert today is not whether the industry can invent better products. Innovation continues. Materials evolve and technology moves quickly.
Robert remains energized by what building can become.
