PBA has developed an in- cremental music theory sys- tem which is unparalleled. In addition to daily re- hearsals, we provide se- quential, skills-based voice, theory, and musicianship. When students graduate from PBA Day School and After School programs, they would have achieved the equivalent of a College level music theory knowl- edge. TEACHING METHODS INCLUDE , BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO : Instructor Led - The instructor interfaces with the stu- dents by presenting segments of instruction, questioning the students frequently, and provides periodic summaries. Demonstration - The student observes the technique. Practical Exercises - Amethod of training in which the student actively participates, either individually or as a team member. He or she does this by applying previously learned knowledge or skills. All students actively participate al- though they may work at their own rate. Practice Method - Students (alone or as part of a team ef- fort ) repeatedly perform previously learned actions, se- quences, operations, or procedures.
