The aim of this section is to provide guidance on how to track and manage projects within Xero.
Projects are commonly used in the construction industry where the type of work is for a pro longed period of time and costs are more frequent and harder to keep track of.
Projects are not limited to the construction industry and can be used in a wide range of other businesses who are undertaking larger pieces of work that they wish monitor separately from the core financial performance. Examples of some types of projects undergoing can be seen in the examples on the next page.
The project functionality in Xero is an advanced feature in addition to the core offering of the software.
