To access expense settings, click on the cog icon next to New expense button.

1. Enable receipt analysis to enable submitted expenses to be analysed to avoid unnecessary data entry. You only need to take a photo in Xero mobile app (more details below) and system will do the rest. 2. If you have Manage Users permission, you can edit the list of users who can use expenses and their roles: • Submitter – submit and view their own expenses, • Approver – submit own and on behalf of others and approve expenses, • Admin – manage all expenses settings as well as Approver role permissions. 3. Edit the list of accounts to show in Expenses. 4. Add a label to group related expenses.

Alternatively, if you prefer to use the previous version of expense claims, scroll down to the bottom of settings and click “Go to classic expense claims”.
