Texarkana College According to data reported in 2022 by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Texarkana College ranks among the top five in the state for community college completion and graduation rates.

Two major construction projects will begin in 2024. The $44 million Business, Engineering, and Technology building will break ground in late spring, and construction of the RRCU Athletic Complex, the new home of Eagles Baseball, Softball, Tennis, and Beach Volleyball, will begin in the summer.

High School students also benefit from Texarkana College’s affordable dual credit programs that provide opportunities for students to earn college credit toward their associate’s or bachelor’s degree before graduation. Texarkana College was the first established associate degree nursing program in Texas and continues to lead the region in nurse training. In addition, Texarkana College offers technical skills training in high-demand occupations in welding, automotive and diesel technology, electrical technology, HVAC, industrial technology, culinary, cosmetology, construction, aviation mechanics, and office careers, among other fields. Sports Teams—Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Baseball, Softball, and Women’s Volleyball. Beginning in fall 2024 the university will add Coed Esports, Competitive Cheer, Competitive Dance, and Beach Volleyball to the program. Fall 2025 will see the addition of Men’s and Women’s Golf, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, and Bowling.
