PVCC offers two culinary arts options at its Jefferson School Center satellite location. CULINARY ARTS A.A.S. DEGREE This 67-credit degree program prepares you for an entry-level professional position as chef, sous chef, pastry chef, personal chef or line cook. The program includes a required internship to apply and put into practice what you learn in a real-time setting, and to gain insights into This 24-credit career studies certificate can be completed in only two semesters and will prepare you for immediate employment as a professional cook. Program graduates will have the necessary training and experience for competitive entry into employment in restaurants, catering, grocery stores and institutional food service.
