WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOWABOUT PVCC PLACEMENT TESTS PVCC placement tests can be taken at two locations: The PVCC Testing Center on the Main Campus and the PVCC Eugene Giuseppe Center in Greene County (see page 19 for more information about the Giuseppe Center). The PVCC Testing Center on Main Campus is located in the Main Building (room M607). • There is no fee to take any PVCC placement test. • You may be exempt from taking some or all placement tests if you meet certain criteria. Register & Pay for Classes Register for classes through MyPVCC at

Submit an Online Application Go to www.pvcc.edu/apply to complete a Virginia Community College System (VCCS) application. Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive a Student ID number and username. Make sure to keep this information for your records. 02 Apply for Financial Aid All degree- and certificate-seeking students are encouraged to apply for financial aid. Financial aid may come in the form of grants, scholarships, loans or work-study positions. Learn more on page 6. 03 Meet with an Advisor Make an appointment to meet with an academic advisor. Call 434.961.6581 or email admissions@pvcc.edu to make an appointment.
