Since the V. Earl Dickinson Building for the Humanities and Social Sciences opened its doors in 1998, thousands of people have attended events in the 500-seat Main Stage Theatre, the Maxwell Theatre (Black Box), and the PVCC Gallery. From school children seeing their first live ballet to high schoolers and PVCC students attending live arts, music, and theatre performances, PVCC is proud to offer a wide variety of free or low-cost visual and performing arts experiences to the residents of Central Virginia.
