GET CREDIT FOR COLLEGE COURSES TAKEN AT OTHER SCHOOLS Outside VCCS You can get transfer credit for previously completed coursework obtained outside the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Send your official academic transcripts along with a completed Transcript Evaluation Request Form, which can be accessed online at www.pvcc.edu/transcripteval , to: Piedmont Virginia Community College Admissions & Advising Office | 501 College Drive Charlottesville, VA 22902. From Another VCCS School If you attended another VCCS community college, you can also get transfer credit for previously completed coursework. You do not need to send your official academic transcripts from that school, but you do need to fill out a Transcript Evaluation Request Form, available at www.pvcc.edu/ transcripteval . TUITION, FEES & BILLING Virginia in-state tuition and fees $159.65 per credit hour* (Tuition: $155.00 per credit; student activity fee $2.90 per credit; institutional fee $1.75 per credit) Out-of-state tuition and fees $359.75 per credit hour* (Tuition: $331.60 per credit; student activity fee $2.90 per credit; institutional fee $1.75 per credit; capital fee $23.50 per credit)

TUITION PAYMENT DEADLINES Tuition payments for the spring semester vary based on when you register for classes and which sessions you're registering for (e.g., 16-weeks, 12-weeks, etc.). View the full list of tuition payment deadlines on page 9. Students receiving financial aid: If financial aid and scholarships do not cover all charges, you must pay the balance by the deadline noted above or your classes will be dropped. Students taking employer-paid classes: Provide a letter of authorization from your employer to the PVCC Cashier’s Office by the deadline noted above. HOW TO PAY FOR CLASSES Tuition payments can be made by cash, check, debit, VISA, MasterCard or American Express. Payments can be made online at www.pvcc.edu/mypvcc or in person at the Cashier’s Office, located in the Main Building (room M237). Payments cannot be made by phone. Monthly Payment Plan PVCC offers an interest-free monthly payment plan for tuition through Nelnet. Payments are deducted automatically from your bank account or charged to a credit/debit card. Learn more at www.pvcc.edu/paymentplan or call 1.800.609.8056. Note: The payment plan is only available for the fall and spring semesters. Returned Check Policy There is a $35 service charge for handling returned checks or rejected credit/debit card charges. Once you have been notified, your classes will be dropped if you have not remitted payment by the specified due date. Refund Policy Students may withdraw from classes via www.pvcc.edu/mypvcc . Students will be granted a refund for those credits dropped by the published refund dates (see page 8). Refunds will be processed after the last day to drop or change a course for the semester. There will be no refunds after the published dates in the Academic Calendar, which is available at www.pvcc.edu/academiccalendar . Questions?
