Education opens new doors for Sahar Sahar and Bamdad joined the College as ESOL students in 2022. Sahar’s childhood dream was to become a robotics engineer. But, as a girl growing up in Iran, engineering courses weren’t accessible to her. After flying through her English courses, Sahar joined the Access to Science and Engineering course in September 2023 and will progress to university to pursue her dream next year. Meanwhile, Bamdad joined the Diploma in Marine Engineering as he works towards his goal to progress to university.
