Through this Alliance, they hope to highlight French technological innovation in the market and promote their businesses to printers and converters. In their common approach, the five companies wish to emphasize their proximity to customers’ plants and the responsiveness of service, an essential aspect of the club. The first event of the Label French Tech Club is La- bel French Tech Expo 2020, with demonstrations of equipment proposed by the five companies including a series of workshops, which details will be revealed in the coming weeks. Coveris Opens New Pack Innovation Center Coveris has opened its new Pack Innovation Centre in Halle, Germany. Coveris hopes to position the Pack In- novation Centre as a European hub for technical prod- uct development, sustainable innovation and education. Coveris’ new technical development center will welcome visitors in a dedicated space of more than 4,000 square feet. The production area is equipped with packaging machinery, including thermoformer, tray-sealer and form-fill-seal machines to offer a wide range of industrial trial possibilities enabling on-site testing and immediate validation. The workshop area has been designed as an open space, favoring exchange, discussions, sharing of knowl- edge and expertise. It is meant to host internal and ex- ternal events, all contributing to developing the pack- aging of the future. Coveris internal experts, along with renowned industry specialists will regularly offer in- sights on the latest packaging and raw-material trends.
