He joined eToro, the world's leading social trading and investment network in 2016 as UK Managing Director, where he is responsible for developing new products and driving growth in the UK. Previously he helped disrupt, as CMO, the UK wealth management space, by launching Nutmeg , the world’s first online investment manager, where he helped take the business from an unknown brand to having over half a billion pounds in assets under management. Other career achievements include co-founding India’s largest domain registration and web hosting provider, and helping to take several technology start-ups through to successful listings.
Evolved Intelligence is a VC backed company, based in Bristol, UK. It provides roaming, fraud and security solutions to mobile phone operators and signaling providers world-wide. Every day we process 10 billion mes- sages giving us insight into the types of signaling message dialogues and manipulated parameters that might be legitimately used by a range of applications. Against a background of the ever-increasing risk of communication and cyber security breaches, our signaling firewall monitors inbound and outbound messaging traffic and identi- fies suspicious messages and originators. It not only looks at the individual messages but also at sequences of messages, timing, context, volumes, location, velocity and a variety of other parameters. Then, in real time, under the control of flexible rules, signaling firewall blocks, diverts or manipulates these messages.

Previous suc- cessful venture-backed companies include Apertio, which was acquired by Nokia Siemens Networks in 2008, and Aethos Communication Systems, sold to Logica in 1998.
Gavagai has built an unsupervised and self-learning system that understands and continuously learns from streaming unstructured language/text data. Our approach solves some of the most important problems in lan- guage technology: the variability problem, the out-of-vocabulary problem, and the problem of many languages that is, the possibility of using different words or expressions to communicate the same idea, the problem of terms encountered in input which are not present in a system's dictionary or database of known terms, and the problem that English is only one of many languages, respectively. Gavagai’s scalable approach to these prob- lems is necessary for dealing with real world NLP applications.
