Shaun Orpen is the Commercial Director at Scentrics, a UK based company with high value patented encryption technology that can be used by any application to protect content stored on a device or sent to another device. This delivers personal privacy for all devices, apps and platforms on the internet, giving users full control over who sees what information. Shaun has over 20 years board level experience gained in large and small compa- nies. Shaun invested in and subsequently joined Scentrics in 2016, inspired by the game changing proposition created by the founder in conjunction with leading academics from UCL. For the past few years, Shaun has worked with a number of private technology businesses in commercial/ marketing roles. Prior to this, he set up and ran the £500m commercial business unit for Orange, selling to small and medium businesses in the UK.

SecurityMatters has a global customer base, with partners and customers in all critical industries. These part- ners and customers include large multinational and defense companies, who provide a wide range of services from consultancy, systems integration and managed security services based on SecurityMatters’ products.

Chief Executive Officer, Damiano Bolzoni

Dr. Damiano Bolzoni (1981) received his PhD in 2009 with a thesis on network anomaly-based intrusion detection. Since 2008 he has been involved in securing Industrial Control Systems. In 2009 he co-founded SecurityMatters to provide to mission-critical asset owners solutions for protecting their infrastructure from cyber incidents.

We’re a fintech business with a banking license, fully regulated by the FCA and PRA. We were granted a bank- ing license by the Bank of England back in July and we’re now in the middle of our beta testing phase in prepa- ration for our public launch (coming very soon!). Starling is a customer-first, mobile-focused account designed specifically for the phone-loving generation. We give our customers access to a mobile market of products that best fit their financial needs and sets them on their way to a happier, healthier financial life.

Chief Executive Officer, Anne Boden

Anne Boden is CEO and founder of Starling Bank. Prior to Starling, she was Chief Operating Officer of Allied Irish Banks Plc and Head of EMEA, Global Transaction Banking across 34 countries for RBS and ABN AMRO. She has more than 30 years experience in banking, having begun her career at Lloyds Bank, before moving on to Standard Chartered Bank and then UBS in Zurich. She was recently recognized as one of the Global Power Women in FinTech. She holds a BSc in Computer Science and Chemistry, an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of IT.
