Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they will govern your use of BLUE VALENTINE & DRIFT - WOOD HERITAGE PRODUCTION SALE, LLC 2025 ONLINE ONLY AUCTION . ALL prospective buyers MUST BE registered through DVAuction & be approved for bidding. Prior to the sale, if you haven’t created an account for bidding, you will need to do that on their website or by calling them. DVAuction also suggests updating your DVAuction Account Information/Settings, on their Homepage. There you will be able update your Contact Informa - tion, Bank Information, Login Information (email/password), and/or Account Settings, Email notifications, Mailing Address, Time Zone and Language preferences. The DVAuction staff is also available to help with any online auc - tion questions by telephone at (402) 316-5460 Conditions of the Sale - Each horse sells to the highest bidder. All horses will have a starting bid, as well as a bidding increment. Reserves may be placed on individual lots, and those lots will not sell unless the reserve price is met. Bidding will close on Sunday, September 14, 2025 6:00 PM CST . This is a “soft close” auction, meaning that if a bid is placed on any lot within the last 5 minutes, of the closing time, the entire auction will remain open for bidding for an additional 5 minutes. This will continue until no further bids are placed with in those 5 minute immediately preceding the closing time. Changes will be announced before bidding opens on September 10th, 2025 through DVAuction, the BV&D Facebook page, breeders’ Facebook pages, our sale website, https://bvdheritagesale.com/ ALL SALES ARE FINAL . Horses become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold and any costs that incur from the closing time of the sale forward are the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer has 14 days from the close of the sale to arrange transport unless other arrangements have been made with the individual breeders. Payment - Acceptable methods of payments are Credit/Debit Card (Visa or Master Card) or if approved by the sale orga- nizers/Breeders (prior to the sale) – cash (US funds only,) cashier’s check, or personal check. Issuing a check with insuffi - cient funds is a felony and will be handled as such. Payment in expected immediately following the close of the sale unless previous arrangements have been made with the individual ranch/seller. Please note a 3.75% buyer’s premium is added for all credit card purchases. Payment is due 3 (three) business days following the auction, no later than Wednesday, September 17, 2025. CURRENCY : All Transactions are in United States Dollars (USD) Health Inspections - Health papers including a Coggins test will be issued for all horses. Out of state and out of the USA buyers need to know their respective Heath Inspection requirements and cost for transport. AQHA Registration & Transfer - Registration papers will be mailed to the buyers. AQHA fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Pending registration papers will be mailed to the “buyer provided address” in a timely manner once received from the respective Breed Association. Guarantee - We guarantee the horses as represented in the sale videos and descriptions during the sale. To the best of our knowledge the horses are free of disease. Buyers are encouraged to call each individual breeder with questions and are welcome to visit the breeders’ facilities before the close of the sale for an in-person inspection. Pre-purchase exams may be set up at the buyer’s expense well before the sale begins. Pregnant mares will be verified before the opening of bidding begins, but do not sell with return privileges. Please Read... Regarding the foals in the sale: We put a lot of effort into getting the foals ready to be weaned, making sure that they are eating hay and grain, and getting used to being away from their mothers. They are in good condition and it is our expec- tation that you pick up the foal as quickly as possible after the sale closes. Due to nature of hosting an online sale, foals will be weaned day of loading out. This is our policy unless otherwise stated. Loading out: Foals will be available to be picked up immediately following the sale. Arrangements must be made with the individual breeder/seller for pickup and load out. Every effort will be made to accommodate pickup, but it is the buyer’s re - sponsibility to ensure that the breeder is notified of the pickup time and shipping details. No pickup or loadout after dark. Please give the breeder as much notice as possible to allow for the horse to be prepped for shipment. Special arrange- ments can only be made with the individual breeders in regard to transportation. NOTE: Before You Buy - Please ask about the deworming/vaccination schedule and anything else that you would like to know about each individual horse. **After the auction closes the horse belongs to the new owner, even if and when the horse is in Blue Valentine & Driftwood Heritage Production Sale, LLC’s care until pick up. Any extra fees from that time forward for vaccination, vet/medical, farrier, transport, international shipping will be the responsibility of the new owner. IMPORTANT INFORMATION If additional time is needed beyond the 14-day window for pickup, arrangements MUST be made with the individual breeder/seller. SCHEDULE/FEES After 14 days - Fees of $4 a day beginning September 29th. After 30 days - Fees of $10 a day beginning September 30th. ALL MENTIONED FEES must be paid before the horse can be released to the buyer.
