THEFT UNDER $5000 Christopher Fourkiotis, 33, of Cornwall, was arrested on March 18 and charged with theft under $5000. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on April 17. A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 21 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of a probation order for failing to keep the peace. He was released to appear in court at a future court date. His name was not released as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Shawna Mitchell, 35 and Ashley Gagnon, 20 both of Cornwall were arrested on March 27 and charged with theft under $5000 and two counts of possession of sto- len property. Mitchell was also charged with breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. Mitchell was held for a bail hearing while Gagnon was released to appear in court on April 29. MISCHIEF A 21-year-old Brinston, Ontario, man was arrested on March 18 and charged with mischief. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter. ASSAULT, MISCHIEF A 23-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 19 and charged with two counts of assault and one count of mischief. Her name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter. THREATS, RESIST ASSAULT Evin Jarvis, 21, of Cornwall, was arrested on March 19 and charged with threats and resisting arrest. He was transported to police headquarters and later released to appear in court on April 17. FRAUD UNDER $5000, UTTER FORGED DOCUMENTS, THEFT UNDER $5000 Shawna Mitchell, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on March 21 and charged with fraud under $5000, two counts of utter forged documents and two counts of theft under $5000. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on April 17. OBSTRUCT, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH Bradley Johnson, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on March 21 on the strength of warrants and charged with obstruction. On March 21, while in the area of York Street and Second Street, police were speaking to the man on an unrelated matter when the man identified himself to police as another man. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. THEFT UNDER $5000, FRAUD UNDER $5000, RESIST ARREST Katlen Moore, 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on March 24 and charged with theft under $5000, fraud under $5000 and with resisting arrest. She was charged accord- ingly and later released to appear in court on April 17. ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, BREACH A 46-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 27 and charged with assault, mischief and four counts of breach of recognizance for having consumed alcohol, not notifying a change in address, communicating with someone he has conditions not to as well as failing to keep the peace. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter. A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 27 and charged with assault with a weapon, mischief and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter. ROBBERY USING A FIREARM, DISGUISE WITH INTENT, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE AND BREACH Ashley Hutt, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on March 27 and charged with robbery using a firearm, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous pur- pose and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. During their investiga- tion a hand gun believed to be the one used in the robbery was located and found to be a replica firearm.
