COMMUNITY EVENTS 19TH ANNUAL MERRY MARKETPLACE BY THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF FLORENCE The Junior League of Florence has been a part of the Florence community since 1948.Wearea leagueofwomendedicated topromotingvolunteerismandseeking to help women realize their full potential. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable, as we strive to make a difference in our local community through the action and leadership of our trained league members.
The Junior League of Florence makes a difference in the community through our annual fundraisers like: Merry Marketplace, Lucky Shamrock Festival, and Touch-A-Truck. Our fundraisers enable us to give back to our community through JLF grants and scholarship awards. On November 9th-12th, 45 vendors gathered at the SiMT building in Florence, SC. The Junior League of Florence hosted a shopping extravaganza to raise money to utilize in their annual projects within the Florence community for women and children. Our very own, Lauren Bunten PT, DPT, served as the Merchant Co-Chair for the 2017 event. We are proud to say that we raised over $30,000 at the 19th Annual Merry Marketplace event!
