Hacks S4 promises plenty of drama with the tense relationship between Deborah (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder)! After securing the Late Night hosting gig, Deborah faces the risk of Ava exposing her one-night stand with Bob Lipka – a network executive – before she was chosen for the role. Meanwhile, Marcus may leave Deborah's team to join QVC, and Jimmy tries to keep Kayla in the entertainment industry with a misguided "proposal" on a plane. Deborah's family also faces upheaval as DJ is about to have a baby, and her relationship with her sister Kathy remains unclear. With many unresolved issues, Season 4 will continue to explore the complex friendship between Deborah and Ava – the heart of the show.
