When your gut works optimally, it is easy to take it for granted. However, given that it is around four metres long, that provides plenty of opportunities for problems to occur, including indigestion, heartburn and acidity, constipation, flatulence, bloating and even compromised immune function, due to poor nutrient absorption via the gut walls. Gut function can be affected by environmental factors, ageing, poor bacterial balance in the bowel, allergies, stress, inadequate diet and overindulgence in alcohol, food sensitivities and illness. A healthy diet containing probiotic and prebiotic foods (to support healthy gut flora), soluble and insoluble fibre (to improve bowel function and stool transit time), and a concentrated bone broth (to nourish and balance the gut) are all effective, soothing and natural ways to keep your digestive system in top form. Bone broth The health of your gut has a powerful and potentially positive knock-on effect on the health of every other organ and bodily system. Gut function directly affects your whole body function and wellbeing, including your immunity, mood, digestion, sleep, and the health of your brain, heart and skin. One of the most effective - and delicious! - ways to support your gut health is to add high- quality bone broth to your diet. You might be surprised to learn that the consumption of bone broth dates back to prehistoric times. It then gained wider use as both a food and a remedy for illness from its use in traditional Chinese medicine. Its numerous health and healing benefits have resulted in it being known as ‘liquid gold’.

Helpful gut bacteria thrives when it is fed high quality fruit, vegetables, protein, good fats and amino acids. Bone broth concentrates contain naturally- occurring essential amino acids, collagen and glycine to soothe the gut, as well as improve the tissue that lines the gut. The new Nutra Organics Beef Bone Broth concentrates boost immunity, promote gut wellbeing, speed wound healing, improve bone strength and protect antioxidants. They are also Paleo and Keto diet-friendly, and gluten-free. These bone broth concentrates contain Australian-sourced beef bones, zinc and over 40 percent collagen protein. This protein contains the amino acids glutamine and glycine, which play a vital role in rebuilding and strengthening the lining of the digestive tract. Nutra Organics aim to find naturally- sourced vitamins and minerals to enhance their products’ efficacy. For example, their concentrates contain guava leaf extract, which is a rich source of zinc, making the concentrates even more nutritious as well as strengthening the immune system. Nutra Organics concentrates also contain apple cider vinegar, which increases the extraction of collagen and other nutrients from the original bones. As a bonus, both collagen and zinc provide specific beauty benefits, helping to improve the health of skin, hair and nails. The best part about Nutra Organics Beef Bone Broth concentrates is that they are not only as delicious as homemade stocks, but they are also extremely convenient and easy to add to soups, stews, gravy or just mixed with hot water for a hearty, soothing and warming mug of savoury, nourishing broth.
