Luce Secondo to open signature restaurant at 1500 Belaire Ave. in Chesapeake, VA Summit Pointe Realty, LLC announces 6,520 s/f lease at Summit Pointe

HESAPEAKE, VA — Summit Pointe Re- alty, LLC announced that Luce Secondo has leased 6,520 s/f of signature restau- rant space at 1500 Belaire Ave. at Summit Pointe. Grand opening anticipated by the end of the year. One of the region’s top chefs, Antonio “Tony” Caruana, will serve his modern take on re- gional Italian fusion in Chesa- peake’s newest metropolitan center. Featured on Kitchen Ambush, Caruana has demon- strated his creative flair and culinary chops since opening his first restaurant in down - town Norfolk in 2013. “When you come into my place you can expect a good time with real, live service,” said Caruana. “No pretentious- ness, no highfalutin stuff. The dishes all come from my heart and soul. I pay respect to the origins and traditions of Ital- ian food and fuse it all together with my own twist, taste and flair.” “I also know what a major catalyst Summit Pointe is for Chesapeake and the region,” adds Caruana. “Many of my current customers come from that area. It has huge poten- tial for us to be a part of this and create a new energy and dining scene in Chesapeake.” “This addition to Summit Pointe elevates our dining of- ferings in a significant way,” said Chris Williams , senior vice president with Summit Pointe Realty, LLC. “We are thrilled to welcome Tony and his team to one of the most beautifully designed restau- rant spaces in the region. We can’t wait to see his vision for Luce Secondo come to life.” Chris Read , senior vice pres- ident, and Jeff Parke r, senior vice president with Colliers , negotiated the lease on behalf of Summit Pointe Realty, LLC. Summit Pointe is Coastal Virginia’s newest $330 mil- lion metropolitan center and lifestyle community, located on 69 acres in Virginia’s sec- ond most populous city. When complete, Summit Pointe will include more than one million s/f of office space, up to 500,000 s/f of retail space, 250,000 s/f of hospitality and confer- ence space, and 1,400-plus residences. Completion and occupancy of Helix, the first apartment building with 133 residences, was achieved in summer 2020. MAREJ
