solver and optimist. I tend to think creatively and always look at the glass being half full. In terms of business this can mean considering a tenant that might not seem on the surface like a perfect fit for a given site, and coming up with creative solutions to make it work for everyone. I also think positivity is a must have in an industry where you face a lot of rejection. As brokers, we are told “no way” more often than we are told “yes.” I pride myself on being transparent and honest withmy clients and customers. While this might seem very fundamental, these
traits have enabled me to forge a lot of wonderful and long- lasting relationships. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduat- ing from college today? I would tell them to be open to trying anything and fig- uring out where their pas- sion lies. There are so many paths within the real estate industry and so many great opportunities and interesting people to meet. Put yourself out there, work hard, and do what makes you happy. Form good relationships, and be true to yourself. MAREJ

I would probably say making the solo jump to NAI DiLeo Bram. Previously, I have al- ways worked on a team with other real estate professionals, which I loved, but was ready for a change and wanted to push myself to the next level. NAI DiLeo-Bram is super supportive and collaborative which means a lot to my career development! What is yourmost notable project, deal or transac- tion? The transaction I am most proud of would probably be the Planet Fitness lease I worked on in Newark, NJ. It was one of the first tenants I worked with upon starting in the industry and one of the very first phone calls I made. It was not an easy or straightforward assignment, and took over a year to complete, but for those reasons it made it that much more rewarding, when it was concluded. What impact has social media/networking had on your career? I believe networking is ex- tremely important in any sales position. At the end of the day relationships and knowing good people are where opportu- nities come from. Social Media has opened up even more doors to different forms of staying in touch and networking. It has been so interesting to see it evolve over my career thus far. Initially when I started it was not a main form of marketing and connecting, and now utiliz- ing social media is standard and necessary. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current posi- tion and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? Honestly, by taking a chance and finding someone willing to take a chance on me! Back in early 2014 I was unhappy at my previous job and a friend connected me with an expe- rienced professional in the industry. I wasn’t exactly sure where I wanted to end up pro- fessionally, and jumping into a brand new industry was scary, but it was the best decision I made! After a few years at other national firms, I joined NAI DiLeo Bram last year. In the midst of the pandemic
there was so much unknown and I felt like I was ready for something new. It was a great decision, and I am extremely happy working in a smaller, highly collaborative office that has given me an opportunity to thrive in my specialty (retail)
while also branching into new service lines like office, flex, and investment sales. What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most suc- cessful in your profession? I feel that I am a problem
