AVERITT IS PROUD TO BE A FOUNDING MEMBER OF SMARTWAY ® . This program was created in 2004 by the Environmental Protection Agency to reduce transportation-related emissions and improve supply chain efficiency. As one of only 52 founding members, we agreed to meet specific environmental and energy-saving goals while sharing our progress annually with the EPA. Through this program, we established a systematic approach to both reduce emissions and conserve fuel.
It’s not enough to say you’re committed to change. You’ve got to back that commitment up with action.
At Averitt, we’ve incorporated sustainable practices throughout our organization – and these practices are making a quantifiable impact on the health of our planet.
