Addressing the issues In 2010, authorities shut down the fraud operation. It took two more years of scraping by before Scott came to WWIV. When she did, she started taking medication and getting therapy for bipolar disorder. Through her dual diagnosis treatment at WWIV, Scott has taken ownership of her addiction and acted to find solutions. Since graduating the program in 2012, she has worked for WWIV, handling daily operations as office manager and sharing her story with anyone who needs encouragement. She doesn’t know exactly what the future will bring, but she’s happy to take it one day at a time. “Whatever God has for me from here on out, we’ll see what happens,” she says. “I’m never going to plan anything ever again.”  51
