Ring Dec 2025

Fury admits he played around at times during the first fight. He’ll be meaner in the rematch.

when I walked over to his corner, it was the morale of a loser. Look, I can say whatever I want, but decisions have been made and he has a victory over me. I have the opportunity to run it back, so fantastic. The Ring: We’ve seen you make tactical adjustments in rematches. What will you do differently next time? Fury: I’ve had three rematches. If you look at the John McDermott fight, the first one was a close fight, the second one I knocked him out. Deontay Wilder, the first one was a close fight, the second one I knocked him out. Derek Chisora, the first one was a close fight, the second one I knocked him out. So, if rematches are anything to go by, (YELLS LOUD) we’re expecting a knockout, Tommy!!!! (laughs) The Ring: You told me how you would beat [Wladimir] Klitschko and how you would beat Wilder. Can you

absolutely fantastic, but there’s a lot more to come from me. There were problems in camps that I won’t ever talk about because I’m not an excuse-maker. I had a lot of stuff going on. Forget the cut (a sparring injury that delayed the original February date) – forget leaving one camp with a massive cut, then only having a few months to train and heal and spar. I did that anyway. I took it like a boss! But, at the end of the day, I don’t believe he beat me, and he knows he didn’t beat me. At the end of that fight

face and it hurt him. You could say that about all the knockdowns. I’ve been down 10 times in my career. I don’t say I made mistakes. I just got caught. It’s a part of boxing. Some people get caught and they don’t recover, like AJ the other night. Some people get caught and they recover and come back to win rounds. I’m one of those people. The Ring: There was a lot of clowning and showboating, Tyson. Do you regret taking your eye off the ball? Fury: If my granny had a set of balls, she’d be my granddad. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Would I regret not putting on the Euromillions if my numbers came up? Hell, yeah, I’d regret it, but it’s not going to help me win the Euros, is it? Life doesn’t work like that. I don’t regret anything. I know some people have said that I didn’t box well, but I’ll honestly say it’s the best I’ve boxed in years. I thought I boxed
