The AMBA & BGA Global Conference 2021 is designed to address the issues that Business Schools face on a daily basis. THE PLATFORM AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES To ensure high-quality networking and meaningful conversations between all attendees, AMBA & BGA has chosen to facilitate interactions at the conference by using the Swapcard platform. Swapcard allows attendees to create and automate the scheduling of qualified face-to-face meetings, while also allowing for off-the-cuff conversations through chat functionality available both before and during the event. You can interact with delegates in the following ways during the course of the event: • Matchmaking – meet new contacts that can add value to your network, based on your own requirements. A simple tickbox exercise as part of your registration process will enable you to connect with like-minded delegates and find existing contacts with whom to catch up.
• Meetings – arrange your own virtual meetings and conference agenda to make the most of every minute of the entire event experience. • Live chat – network casually before, during, and after the conference in themed chatrooms. • Roundtables – join interactive and more intimate roundtable discussions, running as breakout sessions alongside the plenary and keynote presentations. You will be able to set up your own matchmaking rules easily – choose the topics, delegates, suppliers and partners that are of interest to you, and the platform’s AI technology will help you arrange meetings with fellow delegates who can add the most value to your experience. Manage your own meetings – pre-schedule time slots and meeting areas, determine who you would like to meet and let the magic happen. Participants receive an automated ‘push’ reminder 10 minutes before each meeting. Meetings can be synced with your calendar or rescheduled with the use of your phone. You can also alert people if you are running late.
