Klingele Group Installs Koenig & Bauer Flexo Press The Klingele Group, Stuttgart, Germany, is the first customer to install the new CorruCUT sheetfed flexo press with integrated high board line rotary die-cutter from Koenig & Bauer. In developmental partnership with Klingele, the new press has been designed for the high-performance rotary production of die-cut corru- gated products in ultimate flexo post-printing quality. The CorruCUT incorporates a number of unique features such as a vacuum-belt feeder without infeed roller, a new solution for anilox roller exchange, and an overhead vacuum delivery.The CorruCUT handles corrugated sheets with a width of up to 110 inches and a thickness of 0.354 inches, running at speeds up to 12,000 sheets per hour. ICPF To Promote Corrugated Packaging Careers ICPF will conduct its annual Teleconference on The Business of Corrugated Packaging & Displays and the Career Opportunities on February 27. More than 500 packaging science, graphic design, marketing & sales, supply chain management, packaging design, business, industrial & chemical engineering, and other students and faculty on 20 college campuses will be participating.This annual event is a live video confer- ence utilizing professionalWKARTV personnel andTV broadcast equipment at central Michigan’s PBS studios for two-way interactivity. After their presentation, industry panel speakers,Bry- an Hollenbach, Green Bay Packaging, and Rich Ford, Packaging Corporation of America, as well as student moderator ErinWilson,will address live questions from students on each of the 20 participating campuses.
