Sounds of Scotland is STE’s annual showcase of Scottish music and dance. Featuring more than 200 student performers, this one-night-only production brings together world- renowned bagpipers, drummers, and Highland dancers for an unforgettable celebration of our Scottish heritage on one of Houston’s premier stages.
Congratulations to Alex P. on winning the Nicol-Brown Invitational, the third STE student to win this prestigious contest. The Nicol-Brown invites the top-ten most successful Canadian and American Grade 1 competitors of the past year.
We welcomed the International Highland Dance Company to STE as students received Highland Dance instruction from master teachers from Scotland, representing the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo .
Andrew Z. won the prestigious MacCrimmon Quaich at the Stone Mountain Highland Games in Georgia, a remarkable achievement in competitive bagpiping.
STE Pipe Band was honored to perform at Wreaths Across America , helping lead a meaningful ceremony to remember and honor those who served. Their music added a powerful sense of tradition and reverence to this special community tribute.
Jane T., Emily L., Alice E., Avery S., and Mira V. qualified to compete in the U.S. Highland Dancing Championships this summer.
