“They scored very fast,” said Carolyn Stewart, Wildcats captain and one of the fullbacks on the squad. She noted that Arnprior’s quick reaction time was a deciding factor in the game. The visiting team is ranked sixth in the province for single-A tier high school rugby squads. The Wildcats regrouped and the two sides fought for every try and conversion kick for the rest of the afternoon. “We just smartened up, and went back to basics,” Stewart said. “We just needed to come together as a team more.”

Arnprior’s varsity girls rugby squad got a real surprise when they paid a visit to Rockland District High School for an exhibition match with the Wildcats. Arnprior won but the score was a lot closer than any of the visiting players expected. Arnprior squeezed out a 15-13 win against RDHS April 26 after getting a 10- 0 lead on the home team during the starting five minutes of the first half.

The Best of Everything...Even Walkouts! A walkout or daylight basement floorplan is a plan for a lot that slopes. These plans provide access to the rear yard from the basement level. A walkout is highly desirable, adds value, natural light and much more living space. Best of all, a Woodfield home in Morris Village offers great value: comparable homes in Ottawa are at least $90,000 more. When others invite you to compare... we accept the challenge! After all...seeing is believing.
