Overview of Instructional Services 1. Each pro will be assigned their own teaching cart of balls and will periodically spray down balls with disinfectant. 2. Pros must wash or sanitize hands before and after each lesson and wipe down bench areas and gate entrances. 3. Only pros will be allowed to touch teaching cart balls. Ball pickups will be conducted by the pros. Those members wishing to work on their serves must bring their own balls to be used and removed after the lesson. 4. Lesson groups will be restricted to a maximum of four students. 5. Pros will strictly monitor spacing between students at all times. Member lesson-takers are reminded to: 1. Call the pro shop for lesson court assignment and make every effort to go directly from car to their assigned lesson court. 2. Wash/sanitize hands before and after each lesson. 3. Never touch a teaching car ball or stray ball from another court with their hands. 4. Be conscious of spacing between themselves and other participants and remain apart during breaks and ball pickups. 5. Leave the court and facility promptly after each lesson and strictly avoid all extracurricular, social activity or other congregation before and after their lesson.
Overview of Outdoor Play Members must: 1. Head straight to their cars to their assigned court. Members are encouraged to call the Tennis Pro Shop for court assignment. A strict 10 or less person rule remains in effect for the Tennis Pro Shop at all times. 2. Wash hands before and after play. 3. Do not spend time socializing and chatting during change-overs between games. Immediately move to your position on the court and resume play, or take a short rest while adhering to the six foot social distancing rule. 4. Bring enough marked/distinct balls so each player on court only touches their set of balls (except for members of the same immediate family). 5. Promptly leave the premises following play. Indoor Tennis will remain closed and visitor/guest play is suspended until further notice. The Tennis Committee has published the following safety policies and rules governing outdoor tennis play and instruction at ANCC:
