It is with great excitement that we welcome you to our 2026 bull sale. As we embark on another year of bringing top- quality genetics to ranchers, we are proud to offer a selection of bulls that represent the very best of our breeding programs. Each year brings new challenges and changes. This year we lost Bill Haas, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. Bill was a cattleman with the love and knowledge for raising high quality Angus cattle. From genetics that excel in calving ease to those that bring superior growth, muscle, and carcass traits. We are putting an emphasis on the PAP EPD to enhance the ability for our cattle to perform and thrive at higher elevations. We are confident that these bulls will provide you with the opportunity to improve your herd, enhance your profitability, and continue your success. The Haas Family lost two great cattlemen in 2025, taking with them a wealth of knowledge and wisdom of the livestock industry.
William Leslie (Bill) Haas 2/19/1949 - 2/17/2025 Bill passed just a week after the 2025 bull sale, and 2 short days of his 76 th birthday.
Kenneth Charles (Kenny) Haas 9/25/1950 - 8/16/2025 We lost Kenny in August on the last day of the Wyoming State Fair, a fair he exhibited at for many years.

All Bulls have been DNA tested Why DNA testing?
DNA Testing gives buyers access to AGI-generated genomic-enhanced EPD’s ( GE-EPD ) that provide: *Increased predictability and decreased risk of young and unproven animals due to enhanced accuracy of EPDs *Better characterization of genetics for difficult to measure performance traits, such as carcass, maternal and feed efficiency. *The ability to make more rapid progress or traits that are important to you due to: ** More accurate selection
** Easier identification of genetic outliers ** The ability to propagate young animals with confidence earlier in their lives.
In fact, GE-EPD’s on unproven animals have the same amount of accuracy as if they have recorded an average of 15 progeny, depending on the trait.

SALE HEADQUARTERS The sale will be held at Torrington Livestock Market, Hwy 26/85 West, Torrington, Wyoming.
BUYERS UNABLE TO ATTEND You may give your bids to Boone, Kevin or Lander. Bids will be handled as if you were there. If not pleased, you need to take the bulls. DELIVERY Free delivery on BULLS within reason. Free wintering until March 20, 2026, or bring your trailer, take your bull home and we will take $50 off the purchase price.
SALE DAY INFO Yearling weights and scrotal measurements will be available sale day.
HERD HEALTH All bulls will be semen and BCD tested. Bulls are clean of all known lethal Angus genetic defects, or duly noted. All Bulls have been DNA tested.

FIRST BREEDING SEASON INJURY GUARANTEE All Angus bulls selling for $3000 or more will be covered 50% by G Bar H Genetics if they are injured during their first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 60-day period following the first turnout of bulls. All bulls selling for $3000 or more will be given 50% of the value of the injured bull minus salvage value as credit in next years sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Please notify G Bar H as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. Example 1: A $5000 bull is injured and will not heal. A credit of $2500 minus any salvage value will be given to the buyer for next years sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. Example 2: A $2750 bull is injured and will not heal. No credit is given and buyer retains all salvage value. INDEX VALUES $M - Maternal Weaned Calf Value - An index, expressed in dollars per head, predicts profitability difference from conception to weaning. Traits included: calving ease direct, calving ease maternal weaning weight, and milk. $W - Weaned Calf Value - An index, express in dollars per head to predict profitability differences in progeny due to genetics from birth to weaning. Traits included: birth weight, weaning weight, milk and mature cow weight. $B - Beef Value - A terminal index, express in dollar per carcass to predict profitability differences in progeny due to genetics for post weaning and carcass traits. Traits include: yearling weight, dry-matter intake, marbling, carcass weight, rib eye area and fat. $C - Combined Value - an index, expressed in dollars per head, which included all traits that make

It’s a Completely Different Ball Game
I was readin’ an ad that this newspaper had, showin’ this pure-bred bull collection, and my interest was aroused by this line of cows, so I phone for a catalog and some directions. “Ah,” he said, “we’re easy to find, jis’ turn left at the sign, then go East ‘til ya cross the bridge. Now, the road’s gonna fork, but just bare to the North, and you’ll see us up there on the ridge and come early and browse and if time allows I’ll show ya some trophies I’ve won. This set of bulls are the fanciest by far that we’ve raised since our program’s begun.” So when sale day arrived I left home at 5, with my checkbook and she’s balanced and full of the money I got from some coyotes I caught and my incentive check from the wool, and the sale’s due to start at 1 o’clock sharp, but I’m up to my ass in confusion, ‘cause it’s a little unclear which of these bulls here, can adapt to the range that I’m usin’ because they give ya these EPD’s and the family trees on each and every bull in the herd, and to anticipate a weaning weight like these, would be totally absurd, and then they emphasize this here scrotal size. Now that just seems a little bit foolish somehow, ‘cause I don’t care if he’s got big one’s or not, just as long as he can freshun’ a cow, and I want him to give the will to live to the calves when they’re born next Spring, ‘cause I got no control on Mother Nature’s roll and the types of weather she’ll bring. Now, a bull like that is a little to fat, why look, the bastard he wants to lay down and I’ll eat my hat if a bull like that will work with a hot cow around. The next lot in is 30
kinda thin, but he’s quite a lot more what I’m a needin’, than the one before whose hooves were sore and he’ll sure need good feet when he’s breedin’, ‘cause his life’s gonna change when then wide open range becomes home for these new bulls that I bought, and I sure hope they don’t trade their cows for shade when next summer gets dusty and hot. Well, my ol’ Dad used to say “there is more than one way and you’re sure never gonna learn any younger,” but this new school of thought, that our industry’s got, sometimes is sure makes me wonder. And, I know it’s a must, that I learn to adjust, to the market when it rises and falls, but the biggest mistake that I could possibly make it to pick a bull by the size of his BALLS!
