FIRST BREEDING SEASON INJURY GUARANTEE All Angus bulls selling for $3000 or more will be covered 50% by G Bar H Genetics if they are injured during their first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 60-day period following the first turnout of bulls. All bulls selling for $3000 or more will be given 50% of the value of the injured bull minus salvage value as credit in next years sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Please notify G Bar H as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. Example 1: A $5000 bull is injured and will not heal. A credit of $2500 minus any salvage value will be given to the buyer for next years sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. Example 2: A $2750 bull is injured and will not heal. No credit is given and buyer retains all salvage value. INDEX VALUES $M - Maternal Weaned Calf Value - An index, expressed in dollars per head, predicts profitability difference from conception to weaning. Traits included: calving ease direct, calving ease maternal weaning weight, and milk. $W - Weaned Calf Value - An index, express in dollars per head to predict profitability differences in progeny due to genetics from birth to weaning. Traits included: birth weight, weaning weight, milk and mature cow weight. $B - Beef Value - A terminal index, express in dollar per carcass to predict profitability differences in progeny due to genetics for post weaning and carcass traits. Traits include: yearling weight, dry-matter intake, marbling, carcass weight, rib eye area and fat. $C - Combined Value - an index, expressed in dollars per head, which included all traits that make
