L’année dernière, le service des travaux publics des CUPR a dû effectuer des répa- rations d’urgence sur le pont Paul-Émile-Lé- vesque. Les travaux de réhabilitation du pont figuraient déjà parmi les priorités du plan de gestion des actifs 2026 des CUPR. Le rapport de M. Bouchard soulignait que tout retard supplémentaire dans les travaux de réfection du pont pourrait obliger les CUPR à financer le remplacement complet du pont, ce qui serait « beaucoup plus coûteux » que les travaux de réfection. Le conseil des CUPR a approuvé la révi- sion des travaux d’immobilisations 2026 afin d’augmenter l’allocation de fonds pour le projet de réfection du pont Paul-Émile- Lévesque à Casselman.
Le coût des travaux de réhabilita- tion du pont Paul-Émile-Lévesque à Casselman sera un peu plus élevé que prévu. Le conseil des Comtés unis de Pres- cott et Russell (CUPR) a tenu une réunion extraordinaire le 14 janvier afin d’examiner deux contrats de travaux publics pour des projets inclus dans le budget des travaux d’immobilisations 2026. L’un de ces projets concerne la réhabilita- tion du pont Paul-Émile-Lévesque à Cassel- man. Le budget des travaux d’immobilisa- tions prévoyait une allocation de 4 millions de dollars pour les travaux de conception technique, les coûts de construction et d’autres éléments connexes du projet. L’offre la plus basse parmi les huit reçues dans le cadre d’un appel d’offres public pour le projet est celle de KB Civil Constructors Inc., qui s’élève à 4 442 000,77 dollars, hors TVH. Le directeur des travaux publics des CUPR, Jérémie Bouchard, a recommandé d’augmenter l’allocation du budget des travaux d’immobilisations 2026 à 5,4 millions de dollars et d’approuver KB Civil Constructors pour le contrat du pont de Casselman.
