The last time the Rockland Nationals lost a game was late last year. On Nov. 8, 2025, the Rockland Natio- nals lost to the Ottawa Junior Senators by a score of 3-2. It would be the Nats second consecutive loss after starting the 2025-2026 Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) season with 15 straight wins. Since that loss to the Junior Sens, the Nats have reeled off 19 straight wins. Rockland will look to make it 20 straight wins when they welcome the Renfrew Wolves to Rockland this Friday night. For more information on the Nationals, visit rocklandnationalsjuniora.com Welcoming Navan to Rockland Mavrick Brunet scored twice to lead the Nationals to a 3-2 win over the Navan Grads last Friday night in Rockland. Gabriel Le Houiller also scored for the Nationals and added two assists. Ty Fer- guson stopped 22 of 24 shots he faced, earning the win in goal for Rockland. Kemptville comes to town After beating the Grads the night before, the Nats played host to the visiting the Kemptville 73’s. Gabriel Le Houiller scored twice, and has now reached 40 goals on the season, to lead the Nats to a 5-3 win over Kempt- ville. Le Houiller also leads the league in points with 82. Justin Garneau, Alex Kelloway and Danel Myloserdnyy also scored for Rockland in the team’s victory. Mavrick Brunet, who had four assists for Rockland, was named the game’s first star. He is second in CCHL scoring with 70 points. He is league’s current assists leader with 52.

HAWKESBURY HOSTING CCHL ALL-STAR AND PROSPECTS GAMES

Next Monday night in Hawkesbury will be a treat for local hockey fans as the town and the Hawkesbury Hawks host the CCHL all-stars. The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) announced that the Robert Hartley Sports Complex in Hawkesbury will be the location for this season’s CCHL all-star and prospects games on Monday, January 26. For the first time since the 2023-2024 season, all of the best prospects and current players in the CCHL will be on the ice in one building for an evening of star studded hockey action. The CCHL will use the league’s tradi- tional Robinson vs. Yzerman format for making up the teams for the evening’s event. The rosters will be announced some time this week. The Prospects teams will consist of players born in the years 2007, 2008, and 2009. The All-Star teams’ players will be from the birth-year period of 2005 to 2006. Puck drop for the prospects game is at 5 p.m. For the all-stars match, the game starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the games are sold at the door.
