WE KNOW THAT GETTING A WORK-LIFE BALANCE IS IMPORTANT. THIS IS WHY WE OFFER A VARIETY OF ARRANGEMENTS TO SUIT ALL FOR A STRONG WORK AND FAMILY PARTNERSHIP.

HYBRID & FLEXIBLE WORKING Where possible our aim is to provide you with the flexibility to get a good balance between your home life and work. We are proud to offer hybrid working arrangements (role dependent) giving you the ‘best of both worlds’ – greater work life balance whilst still maintaining social connection and bonds with colleagues. We offer part-time and flexible working arrangements and all employees are able to make a flexible working request from day one. REMOTE WORKING ABROAD Yusen seeks to facilitate a flexible and agile approach to working, including where a colleague wishes to work from a location abroad. If your current role allows for hybrid working, you can apply for a maximum of ten days remote working abroad (per year). CARE SUPPORT SERVICE You have free access to a care concierge service brought to you through our partnership with KareHero. KareHero can provide personalised support to help you tackle the logistical and administrative tasks of finding and funding the right care for your loved one – providing peace of mind and practical support. CARER’S LEAVE We recognise that many of our colleagues are juggling work with caring responsibilities. You have a statutory right to take one week unpaid leave per year to provide or arrange care for a dependant with a long-term care need. To support carers even further, we offer two days paid leave. If you need a longer term solution to balance your responsibilities, we will work with you to find a flexible solution. PARENTAL LEAVE We appreciate that having a child is a life changing event so in order to support you and your new family we provide enhanced maternity and paternity leave packages. VOLUNTARY HOLIDAYS We recognise that there may be times when you need additional holiday to spend more time with the family, to travel, to get married or to support childcare responsibilities. You can request a maximum of ten days voluntary holiday each year (pro-rated for part time colleagues). Eligibility criteria applies. Any request will be carefully considered but unfortunately can’t be guaranteed.
