YUSEN ADVANCE - MAKE LEARNING A HABIT Yusen Advance is our global learning platform and offers a wide variety of courses. Combing the Skillsoft library with LinkedIn Learning means we can offer over 33,000 courses which focus on providing you with the skills you need at the time you need them most. All sites have learning laptops or desktops available, so access should be easy, just speak to your Site Manager to book time on the laptop and take a look at what’s available. HOW DO I ACCESS DEVELOPMENT? There are two ways to access development at Yusen; either through your PDR or on an ongoing basis, with a Development Request Form. Please discuss your development with your Line Manager, complete the form and send it to the relevant Development Lead. ROLE-BASED TRAINING DIAGNOSTIC The Role-Based Training Diagnostic identifies the mandatory and optional training requirements for each role in the business. Sheet one of the tool explains how to use it. WHAT DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS DO I HAVE? As well as thinking about what knowledge, skills and behaviours you want to develop, also think about how you want to go about it. At Yusen, we use the 70:20:10 model to describe the way people typically learn.
