APPRENTICESHIPS As an Apprenticeship Levy paying employer, we actively endorse and support the professional development of our colleagues through the Apprenticeship Scheme. This initiative is designed to cater to both existing colleagues and newly onboarded team members. Our Apprenticeships deliver an exciting option for both you and for Yusen. The options and benefits include: • Gain a nationally recognised professional qualification. • Be fully supported by the Talent and Development team and your apprenticeship provider. • Have a dedicated Skills Coach to guide you through your studies. • Regular progress checks with your line manager and provider. • Honoured study time.
Apprentices are expected to allocate 20% of their working hours to off-the-job training, which is dedicated to achieving their Apprenticeship qualifications. Our diverse range of Apprenticeships are suitable for various roles and grades, spanning from Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE) to Level 7 (comparable to completing a master’s degree). Throughout the programme, colleagues completing an Apprenticeship will compile a comprehensive work portfolio and undergo an End Point Assessment to successfully conclude their learning journey and additional mentors and training may be provided internally, depending on the type of training you undertake.
