There are several factors that can impact your balance. Just a few include: • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). • Meniere’s disease. • Vestibular neuritis. • Migraines. • Poor posture. • Injury or ailment. • Neurological issues, such as brain injuries, stroke, or Parkinson’s disease. The make-up of your treatment plan will be dependent upon the origin of your balance issue. When you arrive at FYZICAL, your physical therapist will walk you through a comprehensive exam in order to gauge the nature of your condition and figure out the best course of treatment for your needs. Whatever the casemay be, all treatment plans will contain targeted balance exercises and stretches to help improve your core, vestibular system, and overall proprioception. Depending on your condition, vestibular rehabilitation and videonystagmography may also be included in your treatment plan. ROASTED BEETS WITH DILL & FETA

INGREDIENTS • 1 lb small fresh beets • 4 tbsp olive oil, divided

• 1 lb radishes • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze • 2 oz feta cheese • 2 tbsp chopped dill

DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 425°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment. Peel and cut the beets into eighths. Add to baking sheet and toss with 2 tbsp oil. Season with salt and pepper. Spread out in a single layer. Roast 30–35 min., until tender, stirring once halfway through. Meanwhile, trim the radishes and cut into quarters. Add to second baking sheet and toss with remaining 2 tbsp oil. Season with salt and pepper. Spread out in a single layer. In same oven as beets, roast radishes 15–20 min., until tender, stirring once halfway through. On a large platter, combine the beets and radishes. Drizzle with the balsamic glaze. Top with the feta and dill.
