OVERVIEW
The AS pay schedule includes a variety of administrative roles, ranging from clerical office support to agency administrators. Jobs in this pay schedule perform duties involving accounting, auditing, budget, compliance, human resources, legal, procurement, program management, policy development, training, etc.

The AS pay schedule structure consists of 25 pay grades. Each pay grade contains a minimum, midpoint, and maximum salary. The minimum of the lowest pay grade is $10.50 per hour or $21,840.00 annually. The maximum of the highest pay grade is $104.54 per hour or $217,443 annually. Range spreads, from minimum to maximum, are approximately 71% for the AS-605 through AS-611 and approximately 96% for the AS-612 and up. Range minimums have a standard 7% progression from grade to grade that matches the percentage allowed for promotion under SCS Rule 6.7.
