I am thrilled to welcome you to the Viterbi community. You are joining a support network of faculty, staff and students who will be key to navigating this journey. Our expectations are simple. We expect you to treat every experience as an opportunity for growth and development. We

You are embarking on a rigorous engineering curriculum program, which is why we would like to encourage you to draw on your Viterbi community and the full range of resources available to you. Remember that help is only a question away. And we get thousands of such questions! Each person you meet is one more opportunity to add to your network — to learn from each other’s experiences and grow from your own.
Always remember that you have to be well to do well and that includes acknowledging and nurturing the emotional, physical and social parts of your lives. You don’t need to be everything.
