2026 FALL CONFERENCE Powering Data Centers

The power generation industry is evolving rapidly, and nowhere is that more evident than in the explosive growth of data centers and the in- creasing demand for reliable, resilient onsite power solutions. This Septem- ber, industry leaders from across the country will gather in Washington, D.C., for the 2026 EGSA Fall Confer-

ence to explore the trends, technol- ogies, and opportunities shaping the future of our industry. From September 13-15, attendees will experience three days of educa- tion, networking, and industry collab- oration designed to provide practical insights and meaningful connections.

This year’s conference places a spe- cial focus on data centers and the critical role onsite power generation plays in supporting the world’s grow- ing digital infrastructure.

A Dynamic Educational Program

Monday starts with a keynote pre- sentation from the Uptime Institute focused on building and maintain- ing business-critical infrastructure through innovation and efficiency. The panel, “Powering the Digital Backbone: Onsite Energy for Data Centers” will include industry ex- perts from leading organizations to discuss the challenges of meeting rising power demands and explore how onsite energy solutions are help- ing data centers achieve greater resil- ience and operational flexibility. Attendees can choose from an ex- tensive lineup of breakout sessions, including: • Data Center Generators: Power Architecture and Yard Layout Basics • How AI-Driven Field Service Is

CONFERENCE AT A GLANCE

 Sunday, September 13 The conference begins on Sunday afternoon with committee meetings, registration, and the first opportunities to reconnect with colleagues. The evening Welcome Reception officially kicks off the conference, bringing attendees together in the exhibit hall to meet exhibitors, make new connections, and set the stage for three productive days.  Monday, September 14 Monday features a full day of education beginning with a keynote presentation from the Uptime Institute, followed by technical sessions focused on data centers, standby power systems, emissions, AI- driven maintenance, generator design, and emerging technologies. Throughout the day, attendees can visit exhibitors, participate in PowerTalk presentations, network during breaks, and close the evening at the Monday Night Party.  Tuesday, September 15 Tuesday continues with additional technical sessions before concluding with one of the conference’s most anticipated events—a fireside chat featuring President George W. Bush. The conference wraps up with the Closing Party before many attendees remain in Washington for EGSA’s Capitol Hill Day on Wednesday, where members will meet directly with lawmakers to advocate for the onsite power generation industry.
