The Russell Fire Department brought out a giant sprinkler for kids and adults alike to jump through, and at the end of the night, the celebrations were closed out by a magnificent fireworks display at Russell High School.

Mayor Pierre Leroux joined local band The Front End in opening the festivities by leading the crowd in the national anthem. Les résidents étaient invités à se rendre au complexe de 10 h à 22 h, où plusieurs activités différentes étaient proposées aux personnes de tous âges. Des structures de jeux, des jeux pop-up, du maquillage et un bingo, le tout menant à du patin à roulettes disco à 19h. Le patinage s’est terminé à 21 heures, et des feux d’artifice ont été lancés depuis l’école pour clôturer la soirée.
Le complexe J.R. Brisson était rempli de jeux, de nourriture et de maisons gon- flables pour célébrer la fête du Canada. Casselman s’est amusé le jour de la fête du Canada alors que le complexe J.R. Brisson était rempli de jeux, de nourriture et de maisons gonflables pour célébrer l’occasion.
