idea!

We all should care more about our environment and think about all the bad things we have already done to it. Through repurposing, people show that they do care about the future of our world. When you repurpose something, you automatically recycle and re- use it too! So stop and think two times when throwing something away, because you may easily find a new use for all that “garbage and old “stuff.” Repurposing is a way to help and protect nature and is a way of recycling, which is so important these days. Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction. The amount of garbage that humans make annually is enough to cover Texas twice! This also fills enough trucks to form a line to the moon! By repurposing, you can reduce that amount, so you can make a change.

In 2014, Evergreen Packaging crowned the winner in its “Made by Milk carton creativity contest,“ designed to bring home the green benefits of cartons as a food and beverage package. A hands on experience with recycling / repurposing provides a deeper understanding of sustainable. This project involved collecting, recycleding and repurposing milk cartons to create a prize winning design. This winning entry used juice cartons, cardboard boxes, water and soda bottles, grocery bags and oher repurposed packing materials.
