Knysna’s two resort experiences, Pezula and Simola, are both sought- after destination courses, and Pezula is better value at R1 755 non-affiliated compared to R2 200 at Simola. Both include a golf cart, and Simola adds the halfway house. Affiliated rates are R1 160 and R1 250 respectively.

Pinnacle Point is one of the busiest courses in the Garden Route through- out the rest of the summer, and inter- national visitors will pay R2 930 which includes a cart. Affiliated golfers re- ceive a substantial discount at R1 080, which makes it popular with local holi- daymakers who will struggle to find a
dining facilities. Their non-affiliated rate has jumped to R2 150 – the same as No 7-ranked Arabella – and weekday tee times can be scarce. That’s still very affordable for anyone paying in Euros or Pounds, although a golf cart is an extra R600. Affiliated though only pay R1 295.
