OBTS_Physical Therapy Month

PATIENT OF THE MONTH

Sam has 13 years of experience as a lighting technician helping produce commercials and films. The Dark Knight and Transformers are movies he provided the electrical equipment for and even explained how the exciting explosions in the movies were staged! Talk about an exciting job. Sam is currently staying busy helping plan a festival in the town where he lives, along with learning how to wood work and playing bass guitar. Sam has chosen Riley’s Children’s Hospital as the charity to donate $100 towards. He has fundraised before for Riley’s and personally knows patients that have been treated at Riley’s Children’s Hospital. OBTS wants to thank Sam for being an awesome patient and a joy to talk with!

Meet Sam Andrzejewski, our patient of the month. Sam came to Orthopedic and Balance Therapy Specialists after being referred by his doctor. He unfortunately hurt his shoulder trying to recover a falling tent that was above his head. The tent fell on his shoulder causing pain and what the doctor thinks is a torn muscle. Sam is prepared to go in for surgery later this year to have the muscle repaired. He went through therapy at another clinic, but found that OBTS has been focused on treating the problem areas and not always working one area. Sam stated that the PTs and PTAs are spot on when treating his painful areas. He enjoys the attention he receives from all the staff at OBTS and has noticed increased range of motion and less pain since starting physical therapy.
